これまでとこれから
出産をきっかけに「子育ても自分の好きな仕事も全力で取り組みたい」との思いから、この仕事を始めました。
しかし、最初は子どもの病気や入院、発達の遅れに加え、１年間にわたる登園拒否など、予期しない出来事に戸惑い、途中子育てに専念する時期もありました。
環境や子どもの発達の過程で、療育を決意、親子通園や転園を経て、少しずつ頼り先を増やし、時間の使い方を工夫しながら、一歩一歩課題をクリアしていきました。
子育ては、自分らしさを見つめるきっかけになり、「自分らしく生きること」の大切さ、そして個性豊かな子どもたちが将来「好きなこと」を仕事にできるように、私自身も「好きなこと」を仕事として追い続ける大人であり続けたいと考えるようになりました。
あたたかな一つ一つのご縁のお陰で今日まで続けることができたと感じています。これからもたくさんの「好き」を応援し、わくわくや笑顔をつくれるような絵を届けていきたいと思っています。
After giving birth, I decided to devote my all to both raising my child and the work I love, so I started this job.
However, at first, I was overwhelmed by unexpected events, such as my child’s illness, hospitalization, developmental delays, and refusal to go to daycare for a year, and there was a period when I focused on raising my child.
As my child’s environment and development progressed, I decided to provide therapeutic education. As I took my child to daycare with me and then transferred to another daycare, I gradually increased the number of people I relied on and managed to use my time in a creative way, overcoming challenges one step at a time.
Raising my child gave me the opportunity to reflect on my own individuality, and it made me realize the importance of “living true to myself.” It also made me realize that I, too, wanted to continue as an adult pursuing what I love as a job, so that my unique children could pursue their passions in the future.
I feel that I have been able to continue this far thanks to each and every warm connection. I hope to continue supporting the pursuits of many people and deliver illustrations that bring excitement and smiles to people’s faces.
